Teri Richards, LPCC
I’m a Licensed Clinical Counselor with an international scope and focus. I received my masters in Counseling at Southwestern College and I’m a certified Noetic Field Balancing Practitioner. I’ve studied for over fifteen years with transformational counselors and teachers Robert Waterman and Karey Thorne.
I have a heart-centered personality and genuine caring and love for people. I hold a deep appreciation for the natural world and as a lover of beauty, seek it from the inside out in the world, in myself, and in others. My approach is founded in spirituality and in the inherent wholeness of all people. Many of us are seeking a deeper experience of that wholeness, or healing from disturbances of all kinds, and I love to facilitate these processes for others.
In my own life, I developed a deepened spiritual understanding of myself and the world after my brother died suddenly when I was 19. I learned that when I turned towards this tragic, devastating, challenging situation, something unexpected happened. When I chose to not avoid my pain, I felt lifted up instead of weighed down. I found art and self expression and eventually this led me to my studies at Southwestern College and working with my mentor, Robert Waterman. I learned how to look through loving eyes at my challenges and problems and I began to see the inherent opportunity in all of them. As my perception shifted, issues and challenges that I had struggled with for years all but disappeared. This experience became a foundation for my career in counseling.
I have over 15 years experience working with people in both a service and counseling capacity, ten of those years on a global basis in South America, Asia, Europe and the UK. I deeply value feminine leadership, those qualities of the feminine that are inherent in us all (man and woman) that promote creativity, collaboration, empathy, and mutuality. I also have extensive experience working with two of the largest corporate structures in America—the US Military and healthcare corporations—and see both a need and opportunity for a shift from a hierarchical to a collaborative model in many types of advanced business systems.

She has helped me find love and light for myself during a time of such tremendous change.
“There are only a small number of people that have truly helped me develop in my life. Rarely does one find a person that completely understands you from day one, and just makes you want to come back for more. More enlightenment, more perspective, and most importantly more self love. Teri has become this person for me. I always look forward to our meetings. She has helped me find love and light for myself during a time of such tremendous change. Her work with finding the loving, has helped me embrace all aspects of my life. I walk and breathe the loving because of her help and guidance. Her knowledge and use of visualization techniques and breath work have allowed me to find space and have helped me unravel the ball of yarn that is my mind. There is always an intention set and I leave each meeting feeling light, gentle, and aware.”
